Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ShortPath LLC ("ShortPath", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites, the ShortPath routing platform and API, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, password (stored hashed), and optional two-factor / passkey credentials.
- Billing information — your subscription, plan, and invoices. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store full card numbers.
- Operational data — the delivery stops, addresses, and coordinates you submit to optimize routes, and the routes we return.
- License delivery URL — if you provide a callback URL, we store it to deliver your license to your own system.
- Technical data — IP address, browser/device information, and log data generated when you use the Services.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Services and optimize your routes.
- To process payments, issue licenses, and manage subscriptions and renewals.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To send service, billing, and security communications.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card data is transmitted directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy. We retain only non-sensitive billing metadata (such as customer and subscription identifiers, amounts, and invoice records).
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. Stripe for billing, infrastructure and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety recipients, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@shortpath.llc.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and may use limited analytics to understand and improve usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. International transfers
We are based in Wyoming, USA, and may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
